Dear Parents:

Welcome to a new school year! As Homeroom Coordinator(s) for Ms Cline’s classroom I would like to introduce myself.

Throughout the year there will be school wide activities that we will be organizing for our class. In an effort to include all parents to help out, we need to create a class list including every parents name and phone number(s).

Because of Fayette County Schools policy, our only means of collecting this voluntary information is through sources such as this letter to assist us when organizing parties and other classroom events.

With every parent providing this information, it will allow us to contact each of you at some point throughout the school year to send in a small item for classroom or school wide events. This will  allow everyone to share in the cost, making it minimal to all!

We ask that you please fill out the bottom portion of this letter and return it to your child's teacher as soon as possible.  For those of you that would also like to help out with parties or other events in the classroom please indicate so at the bottom as well!! 

We are allowed to offer a voluntary group gift from the entire class to the teacher and aide twice a year (winter and end of the year).   The gifts would be given to the them signed from the entire class. Others of  you may prefer to not participate in the group gift and/or send in something on your own from your child .  All options are truly voluntary.  As the coordinators, we would just like to get a feel for what the majority of the class would prefer to do.  If there are enough parents that would like to participate in the group gift, then we will send out more information at a later date.
